As you are aware our Christmas Fayre will be on Thursday 29th November. The Friends of Middlestown School (FOMS) are busy organising the stalls which will include a cake stall, teddy tombola, turkey sandwiches and many more as well as different games and activities to take part in. There is a FOMS meeting on Thursday 15th November at 3.30pm to finalise the arrangements and it would be great to see some new faces joining the FOMS group if you can make it.
Following the success of the Non Uniform Days that we have held previously, we will be holding another one on Friday 9th November to collect prizes for the Christmas Fayre. All we ask in return for not wearing their uniform is that each child brings in an item to be used as a prize. Each class are asked to bring in different items, please can any items you send in be new and, if they are food items, in good date.
Year 1 Bottles (drinks, shampoo, bubble bath etc)
Year 2 Chocolate / Sweets (wrapped)
Year 3 Christmas themed items
Year 4 Small toys (playing cards, colouring book, pens/pencils etc)
Year 5 Wrapped Sweets
Year 6 Bottles (drinks, shampoo, bubble bath etc)
If you struggle to find anything in your child’s class category then we would be grateful for whatever other items in the list you can contribute.
Thank you to the people who have offered to help already. We are always in need of extra helpers, if you are able to help on a stall on the evening, please see the school office.
We have got some fantastic raffle prizes but if you own or work for a company that would be able to donate any other raffle prizes please drop them in to the school office.
Thank you for your support and we look forward to seeing on the night.
